The VPN is added to the list on the VPN settings screen.
• Press the Center Soft Key to connect.
• Press the Right Soft Key to access Options, such as edit, delete, always-on
VPN and Help.
6.6 Mobile network
Mobile data
If you do not need to transmit data on all mobile networks, turn off Mobile data to
avoid incurring significant charges for data use on local operator mobile networks,
particularly if you do not have a mobile data agreement.
Data usage
• Data usage: Press the left or right of the Navigation key to view data usage
details.
• Data saver: By enabling Data saver, you can reduce data usage by preventing
some apps from sending or receiving data in the background.
• Limit data usage: Using the Navigation key to set On/Off, amount and unit of
the data usage, then press the Center Soft Key to save.
• Data usage alert: Using the Navigation key to set alert with On/Off, amount
and unit, then press the Center Soft Key to save.
• Monthly usage cycle: Using the Navigation key to set monthly reset date.
Data usage is measured by your phone, and your carrier may count
differently.
Data roaming access
If you don’t need to transmit data on other operators’ mobile networks, disable
Data roaming to avoid incurring significant roaming charges.
