136 Charging and caring for batteries
If a radio is attached and turned on, the battery
indicator on the radio display shows that the
battery is charging.
The red LED lights up, and stays lit while the
battery charges. For a battery that is almost
completely discharged, allow two hours.
If the red LED flashes, then your NiMH battery is
being primed. See "Charging the battery before
first use" on page 27.
When charging is complete, the green LED stays
lit.
Turn your radio off while
charging, for best results
