FIX
Function
FIX( num ber)
Returns the truncated integer of number.
Unlike CINT, FIX does not round the fractional portion of num-
ber
when making it an integer. Instead, FIX simply strips the
fractional portion from
number so that the resultant value is a
whole number. The result is the same precision as the argument
(except
for the fractional portion).
Unlike INT, FIX does not return the next lower number
for a
negative number.
FIX is the same as:
SGN(number)*INT(ABS(number)).
