NAME
Statement
NAME old filename AS new filename
Renames old filename as new filename.
With this statement, the data in the file is left unchanged. The
new filename may not contain path, password, or drive
specification.
You can only rename a file in the current directory.
Example
NQME "file.ba5" AS "f ile.old"
BASIC renames file.bas as file.old.
