Spaces

Number
must be in the range
1
to
255
and specifies the charac-
ter position
to
which
to
tab. The leftmost position is
1,
and the
rightmost position
is
the set width minus
1
(WIDTH-1).
If
the current print position
is
already beyond space
number,
TAB goes
to
that position on the next line.
You cannot use TAB
to
move the cursor
to
the left.
You cannot use TAB more than once in
a
print list.
You may use TAB only with the PRINT and LPRINT
statements.
