Storing a BASIC program
is easy. You only need to
use the SAVE command. Storing
data takes
a little
more
effort. You need a program.
Some of you might prefer
to
buy
a ready-made
pro-
gram. However, if you want more control
and
are
willing to invest a little time, you will
enjoy writing
your own.
In
this section,
we'll show you how to write a BASIC
program
which stores data on disk. We are assum-
ing
you
already
know some BASIC. If you don't,
read Section I of Getting Started with
Color
BASIC.
It will give
you all the
background you need.
