Browsing the Internet
Use Chrome to view web pages and search for information.
Opening a webpage or searching the web
1. From the home screen, tap Chrome.
2. Tap the address box at the top of the web page. If the address box isn’t
visible, scroll to the top of the webpage.
3. Enter the address (URL) of a webpage, or enter terms to conduct a Google
Search.
4. Tap a URL to open the web page, or tap the search suggestion to open the
search results.
5. To go back a page, tap . To go forward, tap > .
Tips:
• Tap > to stop opening the page.
• Tap > to refresh the page.
• Tap at the top of a web page to add a bookmark.
Using multiple browser tabs
Open several web pages at the same time (one page in each tab) and
switch between them freely.
