Adjust the volume
To protect the speaker from a sudden
high-level signal, gradually turn up the
volume to the required level using the
VOLUME knob.
To turn off the main power (To save
battery)
When the R-3 is not being used, you can
save battery power by turning off the
MAIN POWER switch on the rear panel.

While the MAIN POWER switch is turned
off, display goes out but the R-3 can
continue to recharge the battery.

To turn the unit ON or to standby
Press the STANDBY/ON button.

If the MAIN POWER switch on the rear
panel is turned off, press the switch to
turn the unit on.
To select a source
Each time the FUNCTION button is
pressed, the mode is changed as follows.
