12. Setting the Time and Date
Setting the Time
The register has a clock function. Once the time is set, the time is kept even when the power is turned off. The 24-
hour system (the military time) is used for time setting, display, and printing. Time setting is allowed any time outside
a sale.
Condition for Setting: Must be signed off in the Cashier Signing Method. (In another method, a
Cashier Key may or may not be set to ON.)
Refer to Chapter 17 on
page 36.
NOTE on “Condition”:
This is necessary for all program changes.
Setting Procedure:
Use the MA Key to turn the ..... Numeric Key
Control Lock to “SET”.
