Ultra HD optimisation
If you operate the DIGIPLUS UHD S2 on a UHD (4K) ready TV set, you now have the
option of changing the resolution of the DIGIPLUS UHD S2 accordingly.
This page only appears if a UHD (4K) ready TV set was recognised at the
HDMI output. If you are using an HD or a Full HD TV, this page will not appear.
You can then immediately start selecting the reception options, which are
described in the next step.
> Press the OK buon to adjust the resolution.
Aer changing the resolution, your TV set may flicker briefly or only show a
black picture until the normal picture is displayed again. It may be necessary
to activate the option of displaying UHD resolutions on the HDMI input on your
TV set. This is usually called "HDMI compatibility mode" or "HDMI extended
/ improved mode". For more information, please refer to the operating
instructions for your TV set.
> Aer successfully changing the resolution, you will see the following image:
> Use the right/le arrow keys to select > Yes and press the OK buon to
keep the seing. If there are picture dropouts, select > No. The resolution will
be reset to the default value.
If you do not see the image shown above, wait a few seconds until the
resolution is automatically reset.
