7. Fasten the lever of the carriage brake device
to the handlebar, so that the belt is
completely free.
8. Remove the belt from the machine.
To reassemble the carriage belt, carry out the
above steps in reverse order.
After completing the reassembly
procedure, carry on the procedure
described in paragraph 8.1. “Adjusting
the encoder zero position”.
