Connect the reference signal to the CH 1 i nput and the
comparison signal to the CH 2 input . Connect the signals
to the inputs with cables or probes having equal time
delays .
Adjust the DELAY TIME POSITION control to move the
reference pO i nt to the desired spot on the reference (CH 1)
display (see Fig . 31A, Point A) . In the AL T vertical mode
the reference point appears on the CH 1 display while the
time-measurement pOint appears on the CH 2 display .

Set the HORIZ DISPLAY swi tch to 8 DLY 'D. Slightly
readjust the DELAY TIME POSITION and t::. TIME controls
to superimpose the waveforms (see Fig. 318) . The
Readout and Scale Factor Lamps indicate the time
difference .
