Procedure - FG 5010
4. Adjust Up Sym Ofst and Dn Sym Ofst ( Loop 1 , A60 )
a
. connect the
high
resolution dvm + lead
to
TP1441
and
the
lead
to
analog
ground
.
b . ADJUST R1537 , Up Sym Ofst , for a voltmeter
reding from -0.00001 to +0.00001 ( –10 µV to +10 µV ) .
c
. Change
the + dvm
lead to
TP1541 .
d . ADJUST - R1646 , Dn Sym Ofst , for a dvm reading
from
0.00001
to
+0.00001
(
-10 μV to
+10 µV ) .
e . Remove voltmeter test leads .
5. Adjust Up Cur Null and Dn Cur Null ( Loop 1 , A60 )
a . Turn off power to instrument .
b . Remove U1421 and U1551 .
When making connections to the IC sockets do not
stress or deform the contacts .
CAUTION
c . Connect the high resolution dvm from U1421 pin 2 , to
U1421
pin 3 .
d . Return power to the instrument .
e . Press RECALL .
f .
ADJUST R1531 , Up
Cur Null , for
a dvm
reading
from
0.00001
to
+0.00001 ( -10
μV to
+10
µV ) .
g . Remove the voltmeter leads .
h .
Connect
the
dvm from
U1551 pin 2 , to
U1551 pin 3 .
i .
ADJUST
-
R1555 , Dn Cur Null ,
for a dvm
reading from
-0.00001 to
+0.00001
(
-10
µV
to
+10 µV ) .

. Remove the
dvm test lead
.
k
. Turn off
power
to the
instrument .
I. Install U1551 and U1421 .
m
. Return
power
to the
instrument
.
n . Press RECALL .
6. Adjust Up Cur Ofst and Dn Cur Ofst ( Loop 1 , A60 )
a .
Remove
P1435
jumper .
b . Connect the μA meter positive lead to the pin of
J1435 nearest the bottom of the board and the negative
lead to
analog
ground .
c . Connect the positive lead of the power supply set for
1.25 V dc to the other pin of J1435 .
d .
Connect the
negative
lead
to
analog
ground
.
e . ADJUST R1634 , Dn Cur Ofst , counterclockwise un
til the μA meter indicates a rapid increase in current . Turn
this adjustment clockwise just to the point where any further
adjustment does
not
change the
current . The meter
should
read between 20 nA and O nA .

f . Reverse the polarity of the power supply leads , posi
tive to analog ground and negative to the upper pin of
J1435 .
g . ADJUST - R1535 , Up Cur Ofst , counterclockwise un
til the μA meter indicates a rapid increase in current . Turn
the
adjustment
clockwise just
to the point where
any further
adjustment does
not
change the
current . The meter
should
read between +20 nA and nA at this point .
h .
Remove the μA
meter
test
leads and the
power
sup
ply
test
leads .
i .
Reinstall P1435 .
