Quick Tips
Preview. If you change the Position or Scale controls whe n the acquisition is stopped or when it is waiting for the next trigger,
the oscilloscope rescales and repositions the releva nt waveforms in response to the new control settings. It s imulates what you
will see when you n ext push the RUN button. The o scilloscope uses the new settings for the n ext acquisition.
You may see a clipped waveform if the original acquisition went off the screen.
The math waveform, cursors, and automatic measurements remain active and valid when using preview.
