Direct or encoded inputs must be asserted
and stable for at least 150 ms to be
recognized reliably. Inputs that are stable for
75 ms or less will never be recognized
Inputs are sampled every 16.6 ms. Five
consecutive samples must all have the same
code for the code to be accepted. It is
possible to pulse the codes synchronously
with the sampling process and trick the
system. Users are encouraged to work
within the intent of the specification to insure
reliable operation
