  If the RTS, CTS, and TxD LEDs on your Telenetics Modem aren't blinking, it could be that the connected terminal or DTE isn't sending data. First, ensure data is actually being transmitted. If it is, check that the RS-232 cable is working properly and is securely connected to both the modem and the terminal or DTE.
