Icon Type Description
Note
Provides helpful suggestions needed in understanding
a feature or references to material not available in the
manual.
Alert
Alerts you of potential damage to a program, device,
or system or the loss of data or service.
Caution
Cautions you about a situation that could result in
minor or moderate bodily injury if not avoided.
Warning
Warns you of a potential situation that could result in
death or serious bodily injury if not avoided.
Electro-Static Discharge
(ESD)
Notifies you to take proper grounding precautions
before handling a product.
Danger
Indicates information MUST be followed or
catastrophic equipment failure or bodily injury may
occur
