If Commissioning Test Fails

Occupancy FAIL
PIR detected too much movement.
1. Verify no one entered the room during commissioning.
2. If no one entered, it is likely the sensor detected too much air movement. This usually requires
that you relocate the EcoTouch to a better place in the room, away from blowing air.*
3. Once moved, test again (touch Retest).
-> The message next to “FAIL” indicates which mode/speed the HVAC was in when the failure occurred.
Cool FAIL
HVAC Cool mode is not operating properly.
1. Look at the message displaying which mode and/or fan speed is malfunctioning.
2. Repair the HVAC malfunction.
3. Run commissioning test again (touch Retest).
Heat N/A or FAIL
“N/A”: HVAC system does not have a heat mode.
“FAIL”: HVAC Cool mode is not operating properly.
1. Look at the message displaying which mode and/or fan speed is malfunctioning.
2. Repair the HVAC malfunction.
3. Run commissioning test again (touch Retest).
