Heat Pump Water Heaters
MWP Series
Introduction
Magnus
®
hot water heat pumps by Temperzone provide ideal
heating solutions as we move to a sustainable future using
cleaner energy sources.
Magnus Series heat pumps utilize the highest efciency
technologies to minimise energy consumption and are not
dependent on combustion of fossil fuels. They can deliver up to
6 times the heating energy output for every unit of electrical
energy consumed.
Magnus
®
MWP Series heat pump units are specically designed
to deliver heated water to swimming pool applications only (not
Spa pools).
The Thermoshell
®
is designed to operate direct in-line with high
ow pool pumps, have low pressure drop and a low temperature
difference of nominal 3 degree temperature difference across
the heat exchanger.
Magnus
®
MWP Series heat pumps incorporate the proprietary
UC8 unit control module with sophisticated software installed
specic to the application of pool heating.
Typical applications include:
Civic swimming pools
Retirement homes
Leisure centres
Water parks
Hotels and resorts

MAGNUS MWP, delivering
600
% heating efficiency
*
Heat pump water heaters are the most efcient way to heat a pool. MAGNUS pool heaters
are able to turn one unit of input power into as much as 6 units of output power. The 600%*
efciency compares well with 100% for electric resistance heaters, and 70-90% for gas
systems. The very low cost of operation means MAGNUS heat pump systems are the most
cost effective option for your pool.
