WARNING
•
There is risk of accident if
you set or operate the on-
board computer, radio, navi
-
gation system, telephone or
other equip ment when driv-
ing. This could distract you
from the trafc and cause
you losing control of the
vehicle resulting in serious
personal injury or death.
•
Operate the components
while driving only if the traf-
c situation allows you to do
so safely.
•
Carry out any complicated
operating or setting proce
-
dures only while the vehicle
is stationary.
•
Take prevailing national reg
-
ulations into consideration.
WARNING
Engine Exhaust
•
Engine exhaust is dangerous
if inhaled. Engine exhaust
fumes have many compo-
nents which you can smell.
They also contain carbon
monoxide (CO), which is a
colourless and odorless gas.
Carbon monoxide can cause
unconsciousness and even
death if inhaled.
•
Never start or let the engine
run in an enclosed, unventi-
lated area.
•
It is not recommended to
sit in your vehicle for pro-
longed periods with the
engine on and the vehicle
not moving.
Coverings
Do not afx any coverings (e.g. lms
or “stone guards“) in the area of the
headlights and air intakes. Damage
due to excessive temperatures and
abrasion could result.
Wear of the different components
of the braking system, such as brake
pads or brake discs, depends to a
great extent on the individual driv-
ing style and the conditions of use
and therefore cannot be expressed
in actual miles on the road. The
values communicated by TEMSA
Global are based on normal opera-
tion adapted to trafc.
WARNING
• Danger of burning.
• The tailpipes of the exhaust
system can become very
hot.
• Do not touch this area.
• Look out for children.
•
Parts of clothing can be-
come damaged.

Section 7 (Engine).
