1.2 Symbols
Operating instructions in this man-
ual include the following symbols,
warning words and signs:
WARNING
This symbol is used in condi-
tions which may cause dam-
age or injury if necessary mea-
sures are not taken.
OPTION
This symbol indicates that
mentioned property of the
vehicle is optional. (Model
specications, models speci-
ed to the country, optional
equipment).
INFORMATION
This symbol is used when im-
portant additional information
is given.
VISUAL
INSPECTION
This symbol is used to
inform the user that the com-
plementary indicator lamp
would be lit after carrying out
the mentioned in struction.
AURAL
INSPECTION
This symbol is used
to inform the user that the
complementary sound can be
heard after carrying out the
mentioned instruction.
DO IT YOURSELF
This symbol indicates that
mentioned instruction can be
carried out by the user.
ROTATING PARTS
This symbol is used to indicate
conditions where the user may
be hit and injured by rotating
parts.
HOT SURFACES
This symbol is used to indicate
the risk of burns in case of con
