4.2 Driving
Push the upper side of ACC switch
for activate electrical systems.
Starting the Engine
Check that parking brake is activat-
ed before starting the engine.
Push the ACC switch for activate
electrical systems and check all the
indicators and warning lamps on
the instrument panel.
After performing all controls and
adjustment, activate electrical sys-
tems and press of the start switch.
Only start the engine when “Neu-
tral” gear is engaged.
After starting the engine, apply the
brake pedal and select gear accord-
ing to the direction you choose to
drive.

Do not apply accelerator pedal
while starting the engine. ECM
system might be affected ad-
versely.
INFORMATION
•
Steering wheel will lock up
if it is rotated when the igni-
tion key is removed.
•
When the electrical systems
are activated, wait till the
“ABS” warning lamp turns
off before starting engine.
