Temperature Indicator What to do?
Indicatesenginecoolanttempera-
ture. Exceeding 100°C/212°F
means engine overheating and
warninglamplightsup.Insucha
casestopdriving,parkyourvehicle
withoutstoppingtheengine.On
thecontrary,stoppingtheengine
whenitoverheatsmaycauseasud-
denriseincoolanttemperatureand
theenginetolockedup.
Shift into “NEU-
TRAL” with-
outtopping the
engine, turn off
the air condi-
tioner, activate
theparkingbrake
anddo notpressthe accelerator
pedaluntiltheenginecoolanttem
-
peraturedrops.
Wait until the
engine coolant
temperature
drops below
100°C/212°F.
