Engine Failure
Simple problems may cause failure of the engine. There are some appli-
cations that can be done before consulting the authorized TEMSA Service.
CONSULT
AUTHORIZED
SERVICE
Consult authorized TEMSA Ser-
vice if the engine does not run
despite checking all controls
and applications.
Lack of fuel.
Emergency Stop Switch
could be pressed.
Refuel.
Release the Emergency
Stop Switch.
Empty Battery.
DPF reaches sufcient
level of soot loading.
High Exhaust System Tem-
perature
Check the battery charge.
Replace battery.
Manual Regeneration
must be perform (See
page 134)
The HEST Lamp is a re-
minder to the driver that
the DPF outlet tempera-
ture is more than approxi-
mately 840°F. No actions
is required.
WARNING
Never open radiator cap when
the engine is hot.
SAFETY GLOVES
Wear protective gloves before
touching these parts.
HOT SURFACES
Accessible parts would be hot
when the engine maintenance
lid is opened.
ROTATING PARTS
Some parts still rotate
although engine has stopped.
Check that all parts are station-
ary before touching.
