Why is my Tennant 1550 Scrubber leaving water behind?
    • M
      Matthew NelsonAug 2, 2025
If your Tennant Scrubber isn't picking up water, several factors could be the cause. It might be due to a worn or misadjusted rear or side squeegee; try rotating or replacing the rear squeegee blade, replacing the side squeegee blade, or adjusting either squeegee. A clogged vacuum hose could also be the culprit; try flushing the vacuum hoses. Other potential causes include a stuck float, a loose or broken vacuum fan drive belt, debris caught on the squeegee, excessive foam in the solution tank, a disconnected or damaged vacuum hose, or a damaged vacuum fan to solution tank hose. Clean the float, adjust or replace the belt, remove any debris, empty the solution tank and use less detergent, reconnect or replace the vacuum hose, or replace the hose to resolve these issues.

How to fix no solution flow in Tennant 1550 Scrubber?
    • M
      Mrs. Kelly FrazierAug 7, 2025
If your Tennant Scrubber has little to no solution flow, start by checking if the solution tank is empty and fill it if necessary. If the tank isn't the issue, the solution control linkage might be broken or out of adjustment; in this case, replace and/or adjust the linkage. Additionally, the solution supply lines or spreader holes could be plugged. Flush the solution supply lines and spreader holes to resolve this.

What to do if my Tennant Floor Machine does not operate?
    • A
      Adam WatsonAug 12, 2025
If your Tennant Floor Machine isn't operating, there are several potential causes. First, check if the main circuit breaker button has been pulled out and push it back in. Ensure the charger is unplugged from the machine after a complete charge cycle. Also, check the battery connections to make sure they are secure. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the batteries may need replacing.

Why is vacuum recovery poor on my Tennant Floor Machine?
    • J
      Joshua CopelandAug 17, 2025
Poor vacuum recovery on your Tennant Floor Machine can stem from a few reasons. Ensure the vacuum pickup heads are sealed to the carpet by locking the vacuum head lift lever. Check for carpet fibers restricting airflow through the vacuum shoes or standpipe screen, and remove any lint. Also, verify that the vacuum hoses are correctly connected to the vacuum shoes or recovery dome, and that the drain hose plug is fully inserted and tightened.

What to do if Tennant Scrubber has poor scrubbing performance?
    • L
      Lisa TaylorAug 21, 2025
If your Tennant Scrubber isn't scrubbing effectively, it could be due to several reasons. Check for debris caught on the scrub brushes and remove it. Also, ensure that you are using the proper detergent and brushes. If the scrub brushes are worn, replace them. Make sure the scrub brushes are correctly adjusted and rotate brushes end-for-end. If the debris hopper is full, empty it.

What to do if the vacuum motor does not operate on my Tennant Floor Machine?
    • H
      hollowayjefferyAug 27, 2025
If the vacuum motor on your Tennant Floor Machine isn't working, the vacuum thermal overload may have tripped. Check for any obstructions in the airflow and allow the motor to cool for 20 minutes.
