Loosen the quick release nut
counterclockwise and remove the quick
release lever.

Remove all wrapping material from the
quick release.

Remove the protective sheets from the
brake clamps.

Install the quick release on the front wheel
in the direction shown in the figure, and
then tighten the nut. Note: There is no need
for you to fully tighten the nut at this time.
Note: The protective sheets on the brakes should be kept for future use. When installing the
quick release spring, you should ensure that the orientation is the same as when it was removed.
