Summary

Unwrap your TENWAYS E-bike

Tool Box check list

Lists all tools and accessories included with the e-bike for inspection.

Rotate the head of the handlebar

Twist the head of the handlebar so that it faces forward

Twist the handlebar head to face forward for correct orientation.

Remove the front wheel

Remove the front wheel and the plastic protective covers on both sides of the wheel

Remove the front wheel and protective covers from the wheel.

Hold your e-bike with the kickstand down to facilitate the next installation steps

Stabilize the e-bike using the kickstand for easier installation.

Remove quick release from the front fork. Pre-install it on the front wheel

Loosen the nut and remove the quick release lever

Loosen the nut and detach the quick release lever.

Remove all wrapping material from the quick release

Remove protective wrapping from the quick release mechanism.

Remove the protective sheet from the brake clamps

Remove the protective sheet from the brake calipers.

Install the front wheel mudguard

Remove the nut, and then hook the middle of the front mudguard to the screw

Remove the nut and attach the mudguard to the screw.

Put the nut back, and then slightly tighten it

Reinstall and slightly tighten the mudguard nut.

Manually adjust the height of the mudguard to the top position, and then tighten all screws

Adjust mudguard height and fully tighten all associated screws.

Install the front wheel

Install the pedals

Tighten the right pedal clockwise and the left pedal counterclockwise

Install pedals: right clockwise, left counterclockwise.

Install the battery

Tilt and clip the lower end of the battery into the battery slot, and then press the upper end

Insert the battery into its slot by clipping the lower end first.

You will hear a click when the battery is firmly seated

Confirm battery installation by listening for a click sound.
