ECONO operating
UPS systems typically have an internal bypass to allow the equipment to seamlessly transfer the critical
loads to the utility or internal generation, allowing the UPS to be de-energized during service without
dropping the load.If ECONO mode is selected, the UPS supplies the load via bypass if the bypass input
supply power is available during normal operation. At a power failure, the UPS can return to normal mode
and provide conditional power to the load very fast. This mode is designed for non-critical loads. In other
words, ONLINE mode must be used for critical loads that are not susceptible to power loss for very short
time.
