Question Possible causes/solution
The humidity value
measured is out of
tolerance.
a Was the t99 response time
achieved?
b Was the H1/G1 data logger stored
for longer than 60 hours at a
relative humidity of more than 80%
without an airtight bag?
c Was the H1/G1 data logger used
for longer than 60 hours at a
relative humidity of more than
80%?
Solution for points b and c:
The humidity sensor has the highest
accuracy between 5 °C and 60 °C,
and between 20 %RH and 80
%RH. If
the instrument is exposed to high
humidity for a longer period of time,
the measuring accuracy decreases.
The humidity sensor is regenerated
within 48 hours via storage at
50 %RH ±10 % and 20 °C ±5 °C.
easurement protocol
cannot be opened or
shows 0 KB.
- Connect the testo 184 data logger to
the PC.
- Open the Explorer
- Right-click on the logger and then on
"Format".
- After successful formatting, remove
the data logger from the PC and
connect it again.
- The measurement protocol can be
opened again.
At what point is a shock
experience critical for an
object?
This depends on the object and
cannot be answered in general terms.
G-forces of 10 g and more may be
considered problematic (damage,
cracks, etc.).
Can a logger be set up
with a different PDF reader
(e.g. Foxit Reader)?
No, unfortunately this is not possible.
For compatibility reasons, Acrobat
Reader must be used.
