The calculator handles a vanety of calculations Involving angles, such as the
trigonometric (unctions and polarfreclangular conversions When performing
these calculations, select any one of the three oommon units for angular
measure
Degrees are each equal to 1 + 360 of a circle A right angle equals 90V
Radians are each equal to 1 +• 2 x of a circle A nght angle equals IT +
2 radians
Grads are each equal to 1 + 400 of a circle A right angle equals 100
The calculator is always in degree mode when II Is turned on, Indicated by
OEG in the display Pressing DRG changes it to radian mode,
indicated by RAD in the display Pressing DRG again changes it to grad
moda. Indicated by GRAD In the display Pressing DRG again returns the
calculator to degree mode Yod may also go through the modes in reverse
order • from degrees to grads lo radians and back to degrees • by pressing
the INV DAG key
The [fed [DRG* ] key changes the mode displayed, and additionally
converts the number ]n the display to the new units. Thus 90 in the degree
mode followed by 2nd [DRG*-] changes the mode to radians and the
d.splay to t 570796327 (T + 2) Pressing 2nd (DRG* ] again changes the
mode to grads and the display to 100 You may also go through the modes
and values in reverse order - from degrees lo grads to radians and back to
