Error messages
Occasionally, when you enter a function or
instruction or attempt to display a graph, the
TI-82 STATS will return an error message.
Example: Enter the least common multiple function
lcm(
followed by only one number.

If you select 1:Quit, you return to the home screen with the cursor
on a new entry line. If you select
2:Goto, you return to the
original entry line; the cursor is flashing at the location of the
error. You can now correct the error and continue.
