4.3.5 Take the engine out of operation
The following procedure is not a complete description of the decommissioning, it describes only the engine-
specific requirements. Observe strictly the vehicle manufacturer's documentation.
► Put the throttle control in neutral position.
► Turn off ignition.
or
► Turn the ignition switch in the OFF position.
► If your vehicle has a battery isolator switch or similar device, observe that after turn off the engine,
data must be saved on the engine control unit. Wait at least 30 seconds, until you disconnect the
power supply of the engine from the power supply of the vehicle.
