11 Cleaning
• Turn off and unplug the unit prior to cleaning.
• Wipe the interior (CD compartment) of the appliance with a dry cloth.
• Wipe the outer surface of the unit with a soft damp cloth and dry with a dry
towel.
• Do not use abrasive creams, steel wool or scouring pads.
• Do not use cleaning agents which contain alcohol, ammonia, benzene or
abrasives, as these can damage the unit.
• Clean the CD reader lens frequently to remove dust residue.
• Dirt on the CD reader will impair the sound quality of playback.
NOTE: Clean the CD reader lens with a commercially available cleaning kit from
most audio shops.
• Do Not attempt to clean the CD reader lens by any other means as you may
damage the component.
