Troubleshooting
This chapter summarises the most common problems you could encounter with the appliance. If you are unable to solve the problem with the information below, please
contact THOMAS customer service.
Problem Possible cause/solution
The wheels will not move or make a loud noise
when they move.
The wheels are jammed.
➔ Remove any foreign objects.
The appliance leaves water on the floor. a) The cleaning roller is too wet.
➔ Remove the cleaning roller and carefully wring it out. It should no
longer be dripping. Use the ECO mode for cleaning.
b) The cleaning roller has absorbed foaming cleaning agent.
➔ Remove the cleaning roller and clean it
thoroughly under running water. If washing it is not sufficient, replace the cleaning roller with a new one.
c) The cleaning roller may be broken.
➔ Check whether the cleaning roller is misshapen or damaged. If so,
replace it with a new cleaning roller.
Dirt cannot be removed
when cleaning.
a) The cleaning roller is dirty.
➔ Remove the cleaning roller and clean it thoroughly. If the soiling is too
severe and washing is not sufficient, replace the cleaning roller with a new one.
b) There are foreign objects in the suction channel, which have caused it to become clogged.
➔ After taking
out the cleaning roller, carefully remove the foreign objects.
c) The suction channel is dirty, obstructing air circulation.
➔ Remove the dirt as described in the
“Cleaning/6.Cleaning the cleaning roller” section.
The appliance will not start. a) The battery is flat.
➔ Charge the appliance and restart it.
b) The mains plug of the charging base has not been correctly inserted.
➔ Insert the mains plug on the
cable correctly.
The “Waste water tank” indicator does not light up
when the waste water tank is full.
The waste water sensor may be incorrect.
➔ Please contact THOMAS customer service.
The „waste water tank” indicator is flashing even
though the waste water tank is empty.
a) The waste water tank may not be inserted correctly.
➔ Remove the tank and reinsert it!
b) The appliance may be malfunctioning.
➔ Please contact THOMAS customer service.
c) There are foreign objects in the suction channel, which have caused it to become clogged.
➔ After taking
out the cleaning roller, carefully remove the foreign objects.
d) The suction channel is dirty, obstructing air circulation.
➔ Remove the dirt as described in the
“Cleaning/6.Cleaning the cleaning roller” section.
The “clean water tank” indicator is flashing
continuously.
a) The clean water tank may not have been inserted correctly.
➔ Remove the tank and reinsert it!
b) The appliance may be malfunctioning.
