J) ADJUSTMENTS AND MAINTENANCE
1) Adjusting the headset
TIME modules are fitted with the QUICKSET headset system
Although the system is factory preset, slight play will appear after a running in period. This is
normal.
To eliminate this play, proceed as follows:
- Use the small levers delivered with the module (P/N:
60003067)
- Place them inside the cup
- Keep the fork still and turn the cup slightly clockwise to
eliminate the play (fig. 47)
Important: Do not apply too much stress on the bearings, as this could adversely affect steering and
cause early damage to the bearings
