D) ASSEMBLING THE BOTTOM BRACKET
TIME Fluidity modules and frames are designed to be compatible with the new standard for
bottom brackets, BB 30
Before you start assembling, check that the chainset is compatible with BB30 (some manufacturers will
provide an adapter from standard BSC to BB30)
Follow the bottom bracket manufacturer's specifications for the assembly
Important: The bottom bracket bearing seatings are factory tested, therefore no rework is required prior
to assembly
E) ASSEMBLING THE BRAKE CALIPERS
Before assembling, read the manufacturer's specifications sheet for the braking system
TIME modules are delivered with specific brake nuts which must be installed instead of the OEM brake
nuts
- Front nut 36 mm long (P/N: 60005998)
- Rear nut 24 mm long (P/N: 60006873)
- Slightly lubricate the nut before assembling
- Torque to 6Nm using a torque wrench (fig.39)
Important: The brake nuts are specific for each type of module and must not be used with another
product and vice versa.
Exceeding the torque value will not improve resistance but could produce a stress that could adversely
affect the brake
