3. Firing Your Marker
a. Theuserandanypersonwithinrangemusthaveeye,face,andearprotection
designedspecicallytostoppaintballs(intheformofgogglesandfullfacemask
meetingASTMSpecicationF1776).
b. Gotoadesignatedringarea,removethebarrelblockingdevice,andmovethe
TriggerSafetytoFiremode(seepage6).
c. Pointyourmarkerinasafedirectionandpullthetriggertorethemarker.
d. Whennishedringthemarker,puttheTriggerSafetyinSafemode(page6)and
installthebarrelblockingdevice(page4).
4. Velocity Adjustment
Eachtimeyouplaypaintball,checkthevelocityofyour
paintballmarkerwithachronograph(aninstrumentfor
measuringvelocity)priortoplayingpaintball.Verifythatthe
marker’svelocityissetbelow300feetpersecond(orless
ifrequiredbytheplayingeld).
Toadjustthemarker’svelocity,usetheincluded3/16”
Allenwrench.Thevelocityadjustmentscrewislocatedon
therightsideofthemarker.Toreducethevelocity,turn
thescrewinwardorclockwise.Toincreasethevelocity,
turnthescrewoutorcounterclockwise.Donotremovethe
velocityscrew!
Unloading Your Marker
1. Eyeprotectiondesignedforpaintballusemustbewornbytheuserandanyperson
withinrange.TheTriggerSafetymustbeinSafemodeandthebarrelblockingdevice
mustbeinstalled.
2. EmptyallpaintballsfromtheHopper.
3. UsingtheincludedAllenwrench,loosentheFeedTubeBoltandremovetheHopper
fromtheFeedTube.IfyouwishtoremovetheFeedTube,followtheinstructionson
page14.
4. Gotoadesignatedringarea,removethebarrelblockingdevice,andmovetheTrigger
SafetytoFiremode(seepage6).
5. Pointyourmarkerinasafedirectionandreseveraltimestobesurethereareno
remainingpaintballslodgedinthefeedtube,chamber,orbarrel.IMPORTANT:Donot
uncockyourmarkerasuncockingyourmarkermaypushaballintothechamberor
downintothebarrelinwhichcasetheballwillbehiddenfromview.
6. ReturntheTriggerSafetytotheSafemode(seepage6)andreinstallthebarrel
blockingdevice(seepage4).
7. ReadthefollowingAir/CO2supplycylinderwarningsandsafetytipsbeforeremoving
theair/CO2cylinderfromyourmarker(removalinstructionsareonpage12).
