3. Introduction
This document describes the steps that should be followed to ensure a successful replacement of the TD80
transmitter with a TD100 transmitter where there may or may not be fluid in the tank. This includes copying the
strapping table and calibration data from the TD80 to the TD100.

The TD100 system must be installed and operated in accordance with details described in the Titan Logix manuals,
application notes, and all other relevant publications. Only qualified personnel familiar with the installation and
operation of this equipment should install, adjust, operate, or service this equipment. Failure to observe this
warning could result in bodily injury and or property damage.
Do not install or repair the system where flammable gases and/or fumes may be present.
Follow all federal, state/provincial and local safety standards and industry recommended practices for the vehicle.
For example, the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and the American Trucking Association (ATA)
Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) Recommended Practices (RP).
4. Pre-Installation
4.1 Required Materials
• Titan Logix configuration software, which can be downloaded from the Titan Support portal
(http://support.titanlogix.com/).
o SensorLink software version 2.0 or greater.
 TPM 058 SensorLink User Manual V1.1 or greater.
o Finch II firmware update utility program.
o Finch II configuration utility program.
• SV Bus Programming Kit that contains the SV-RS232F SV to serial converter
