• A 122cm to 152cm (4 to 5 feet) long Dual-Rod, measured from the top of the probe, with shorting
block is required if either the tank is empty, or the level of the fluid in the tank cannot be guaranteed
to be within the specified range.
• Hand tools and cables.
4.2 Initial Steps
Prior to removing the TD80, determine if fluid exists in the tank, and if so, to what level. If the level of fluid in the
tank is between 25cm, approximately 10 inches, above the top of the shorting block and 75cm approximately 30
inches, below the fiducial proceed to section “Retrofit Procedures with fluid in the tank”.
If the level of fluid does not fall within this range or is empty, proceed to section “Retrofit Procedures with empty
tank”.
