7. OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS
The following optional accessories and functions are available for use with the autoclave:
Temperature sensor for materials to be sterilized
The temperature sensor for materials to be sterilized is placed directly into the material in the
chamber for accurate monitoring of sterilization process. It ensures that the autoclave begins
the sterilization time countdown only when the temperature of the material has reached a
set sterilization temperature

. During the heating course, the countdown for the heating
process starts when the temperature of the material to be dissolved reaches a set value.

A temperature is controlled for this function to within ±2°C of the set value. The optional
temperature sensor is also used for releasing the lid interlock and completing an operation.

Temperature/pressure data output function
The autoclave can output maximum two analog signals from the data of the temperature and
the pressure inside the chamber or the temperature of the materials to be sterilized. When
connecting to the recorder optional, the data can be stored.

External temperature sensor/recorder
The external temperature sensor independent of the autoclave will measure the temperature
inside the chamber and the result can be stored in the recorder.

Printer
Data of the chamber temperature, chamber pressure and temperature of the item being
sterilized can be printed out on an optional thermal printer.

Press the [Temperature sensor] key to select the function. The temperature sensor indication
lamp lights.

While the indication lamp is on, the sensor detects the set temperature for sterilizing.

Please note that the temperature display on the control panel shows the temperature inside the
chamber. It does not show the temperature measured by the external sensor.

When this function is not provided by the autoclave, the indication lamp will not be illuminated
by pressing the [Temperature sensor] key.

Temperature sensor for materials to be sterilized
Measures the set temperature for the sterilizing or heating process during preparation and
commences the countdown. The optional temperature sensor is also used for releasing the lid
interlock and completing an operation.

Setting temperature sensor

Press the [Temperature sensor] key again to release the setting. The indication lamp turns off
and the autoclave returns to its normal function.
