9.2 Maintenance
The temperature control unit has to be checked and cleaned periodically.
Before maintenance the unit has to be disconnected from the power supply.
DANGER!
NEVER DO ANY MAINTENANCE WORK ON THE UNIT
BEFORE IT HAS COOLED DOWN. RISK OF BURNING!
The following may be required subject to use and environment:
water filter clean / replace every month
pump motor fan impeller: clean via compressed air every 6 months
hoses and pipes check tightness every 6 months
Bolts and seals check tightness every 12 months
with oil operation:
Heat transfer oil change every 4'000 working hours
Pay attention to the specifications of the oil manufacturer.
These intervals are for standard operation.
For extreme service these intervals must be shortened accordingly.
CAUTION!
WASTE OIL HAS TO BE DISPOSED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW.
NEVER LET WASTE OIL COME INTO THE SEWAGE SYSTEM
OR SOIL.
Established defects must be repaired.
To guarantee safety the unit must be repaired with original spare parts only.
CAUTION!
DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY
PRIOR TO ANY MANIPULATION ON THE UNIT.
