  If the 35mm UPPER camera on your Topcon Camcorder isn't working, first check if the power save function is on; if "SLEEP" is displayed, press the photography switch. Ensure the camera's battery isn't dead by replacing it. Also, verify that the fuse is not burnt and replace it if necessary. Confirm the UPPER/LOWER selector switch on the base unit is set to "UPPER". Make sure the 1× relay lens is firmly attached and that the camera is properly fixed to the 1× relay lens.

  If the operator cannot see the patient's eye through the Topcon Camcorder, first adjust the illumination level to ensure the illumination light is on. Check that the objective lens cap is removed. Ensure that the BARRIER filter and EXCITER filter are set to "OFF". Verify that the angle changing lever and the diopter compensation lens selector are turned to the "click" position.
