Preparing checks and repairs on mechanical components
Proceed as follows to prepare mechanical checks and repairs on the unit:
Ensure that the couplings on the unit are secured with the appropriate
protective caps and the protective plugs.
Move the unit into the repair position for the upper structures, see from
page 51.
Carrying out checks and repairs on mechanical components
Checking the torque valve mechanically
CAUTION
Risk of burns from hot components.
The wing nut can reach a temperature of about 60 °C during
operation.
Wear protective gloves to prevent burns when releasing
the wing nut.
