Changing the Oil Filter

1. Rotate the oil filter counterclockwise to
remove it.
2. Wipe the filter adapter
clean.
3. Apply a light coat of clean oil to the seal of the
new filter.
4. Thread the filter onto the filter adapter until the
filter contacts the adapter, then tighten the filter
an additional turn.
Note: Do not overtighten the filter.

5. Add oil to the crankcase and install the filler
cap.
