LubricatingtheEdger
Theedgercutterheadhasagreasettingthatmustbe
lubricatedwith#2general-purpose,lithium-basedgrease
afterevery100hoursofoperation(Figure14).

ChangingtheEdgerBlade
Checktheedgerbladefrequentlyandreplacethebladewhen
thebladewidthisreducedto1-1/4inches(Figure15).
1.Stopthemachine,movethethrottlecontroltotheSlow
positionandrotatetheignitionkeytoOff,andremove
thekeyfromtheswitchtopreventaccidentalstarting.
2.Raisetheedgertothetransportposition.
3.Removethe4screwsandnutsthatsecurethebladeto
thecutterarm(Figure15).
