corrosionanddamagetothechassis.
8.Waitvetotenminutesafterllingthebatterycells.
Adddistilledwater,ifnecessary,untiltheelectrolyte
levelisuptotheUpperline(Figure36)onthe
batterycase.

Neversmokenearthebatteryandkeepsparks
andamesawayfrombattery.

topreventbatterydamagewhenthetemperatureis
below32°F(0°C).

2.Makesurethellercapsareinstalledinthebattery.
3.Chargethebatteryfor10to15minutesat25to30
ampsor30minutesat4to6amps(Figure37).Do
notoverchargethebattery.
