CompletingtheWorkforthe
Day
Whenyoucompleteyourworkfortheday,dothefollowing:
1.Backllthespoilsinthepart(s)ofthetrenchinwhich
youarenishedworking.
2.Movethemachinetoasafeandstablelocation.
3.MoveallleverstotheNeutralposition.
4.Settheparkingbrake.
5.Lowerallattachmentstotheground.
6.Letthemachineidleforafewmomentstocoolit
down.
7.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingparttostop,and
removetheignitionkey.
8.TurnthebatterydisconnectswitchtotheOffposition;
refertoBattery-DisconnectSwitch(page20).
CompletingtheProject
1.Afteryoucompletetheproject,returnthespoilsback
intothetrenchwiththeoptionalbackllbladeorother
soilmovingequipment.
A.Movethemachinetotheendofthetrench,afew
meters(feet)awayfromthespoilpile.
B.Aimthemachineattheouteredgeofthepile.
C.Adjustthebladeofthemachinetottheslope
oftheground.
D.Movetheouteredgeofthespoilpiletowardthe
trench.
Note:Makeatleast2passesatthepiletomove
it.
E.Repeatthestepsaboveforthespoilpileonthe
othersideofthetrench.
F.Floatthebackllbladeoverthelengthofthe
trench.
2.Spraythedirtandmudoffthemachinewithwater.
Important:Donotspraytheconsoleorelectrical
componentswithwater.
3.Transportthemachinefromthecompletedworksite;
refertoTransportingtheMachine(page39).
