Beforemaintainingtheengine,performthefollowingsteps:
1.Parkthemachineonlevelground,lowerall
attachments,andstoptheengine.
2.Removetheignitionkeyandallowtheenginetocool
for2or3minutes.
AccessingtheEngine
RemovingtheSidePanels
1.Iftheoptionalbackhoeisinstalled,performthe
followingsubstepstoremovetheleftsidepanel;
otherwise,skiptostep2:
A.Attheleftsideofthemachine,removethe
retainingpinfromthefrontendofthewalkway
(Figure58).

side-panellatchesintothecylinderofthelockand
unlockthelatch.

thelatchincludingthelockcylinder(Figure59).
