cuttingunit,turnofftheengine,engagetheparking
break,andapplythelift-armlatches.
Note:Ifthecuttingunitisa183cm(72inch)model
withareardischargekittted,therearleftfootguard
shouldberemovedpriortocarryingoutthisoperation.
2.Removethehairpincotterandclevispinsecuring
theheight-of-cutcollartotheheight-of-cutrodon
therearofthecuttingunit(Figure19).Removethe
height-of-cutcollars.

rodsdonotgetcaughtonanypartofthetractionunit.
4.Pushdownontherear,rightsideofthecuttingunitand
inserttheheight-of-cutrodsthroughthelift-armpads.
5.Repeatfortheleftside,makingsurethattherightside,
height-of-cutroddoesnotfallout(Figure19).
6.Installtheheight-of-cutcollarsontotheheight-of-cut
rodsandsecurethemwiththeclevispinsandhairpin
cotters(Figure19).
Note:Makesurethattheheadoftheclevispinis
towardthefrontofthedeck.
