Castorwheelassembly
Procedure
Thethrustwashers,spacers,andtensioningcapshavebeen
installedonthecastorwheelspindlesforshipping.
1.Removethetensioningcapsfromthespindleshafts
andslideoffthespacersandthrustwashers(Figure2).

2.Slidethespacersontothecastorspindletogetthe
desiredheightofcut;refertoFigure7andFigure8to
determinethecombinationsofspacersforthesetting.
3.Slideathrustwasherontothespindle,pushthecastor
throughthecastor-arm.
4.Installanotherthrustwasherandtheremainingspacers
ontothespindleandinstallthetensioningcaptosecure
theassembly(Figure2).

Procedure
1.Placethefrontendofthetractionunitupon2axle
standsusingtheappropriateequipment.Ensurethe
machineissafetoworkaround.
2.Removethefrontwheels.
3.Releasethecabletiesthatareholdingupthetraction
unitliftcylindersandlowerthemtotheoor.
4.Openandraisetheoperator'splatformonthetraction
unit.
5.Fromthefrontofthetractionunitandunderthe
raisedoperatorplatform,removethenutsandcarriage
boltsthatsecurethelift-arm,pivotpinstothetraction
unitandremovetheleftandright,lift-arm,pivotpins
(Figure3).
